1960 The Farmers' Meat Company Ltd was incorporated.

1962 The Farmers' Meat Company Ltd became a public company and changed its name to FMC Ltd.

The Fatstock Marketing Corporation acquired the manufacturing business of Marsh and Baxter Ltd as part of a diversification move.

FMC's wholly-owned subsidiary, FMC (Meat) Ltd, acquired the business of the Fatstock Marketing Corporation[1]

1970 Acquired a half share in the CWS bacon factory at Winsford and became responsible for its management.

1983 FMC was acquired by Hillsdown Holdings.
