1909 James Greenshields and Company Limited, of 42 Bath Street, Glasgow, was incorporated as a private company, with capital of £2,000, to take over the business of export merchants, chemical brokers, and dealers in all kinds of tar products lately carried on by James Greenshields and Co of Glasgow.[1]
