1948 Company formed to acquire the business of Fosdon Ltd, previously Foster and Seddon, except for a small department engaged in the sale and repair of motor cars.

1951 Seddon Diesel Vehicles was incorporated as a public company to acquire Seddon Motors; engaged in the manufacture of goods road vehicles and passenger vehicles[1]

This company continued as an operating company.
