Robert Ramsey Campbell Walker (1917-2002)

Heir of the John Walker and Sons company producing Johnnie Walker whisky

Founder of the R. R. C. Walker Racing Team

1917 August 14th. Born at Rickmansworth the son of Campbell Walker (1891-1921) and his wife Mary Marshall Ramsey. Campbell Walker was born in NSW, Australia, the son of John Walker (1863-1896) and grandson of Sir Alexander Walker (1837-1889) who was the son of John ‘Johnnie’ Walker of the whisky brand.

Rob and his older brother John grew up on the Sutton Veny estate near Warminster, Wiltshire, when his mother re-married after his father's early death.

1940 Married at Bath to Elizabeth D. Duncan

2002 April 29th. Died at Frome.
