1869 Obituary. Senior member of Thomas Wilson, Sons and Co aged 77. Apprenticed with Williamson, Wilkinson and Whittaker, Iron merchants of Hull. Started as an Iron Merchant on own account. Around 1846 they ceased the iron trade and commenced as steamship owners. [4]
