Charles Frodsham was in business on his own account for several years and then became the successor of John R. Arnold.
1843 Company established by Charles Frodsham, purchasing the business and goodwill of Arnold, after his death, moving into his premises at 84 Strand.
For the next 14 years the business traded as Arnold & Frodsham Chronometer Makers
1851 Charles Frodsham exhibited at the Great Exhibition

1892 Charles Frodsham and Sons were holders of the Royal Warrant for chronometers, clocks and watches[1]
1893 Incorporated as a limited company.
1914 Watch and clock makers[2]
2017 The company remains in business as Charles Frodsham and Co Ltd[3]
