Born at Exwick, Exeter, the son of John G. Green, a Miller's Wagoner, and his wife Harriet.

1911 Living at 37 Quay Lane, Exeter, Devonshire: Herman Green (age 28 born Exwick), Waggoner, Soap and Candle works. With his wife Eliza, three sons and two daughters.[1]

1917 November 30th. Died.

Commemorated: War Memorial, Exwick and at the Hermies British Cemetery
