It has a central span of 150 foot, side spans of 125 foot and two land spans of 61 foot 6 inches, to allow the possible construction of riverside roadways. The Bridge carries a 40 foot roadway (the A316) and two 15 foot pathways. It is faced entirely with Portland Stone. The cost was £208,284.00<ref>The Engineer1933/07/07.</ref>
