1931 Fred Duncombe Limited was incorporated, with capital of £1,000, to carry on the business of lock-makers, key manufacturers, copper and tinsmiths, manufacturers and dealers in gas and electrical fixtures.[1]

2010 The name of Fred Duncombe, subsidiary of Chamberlin, was changed to Exidor[2]
