1919 Pinkerton, Gibson and Company Limited was registered as a private company, with capital of £20,000, to take over the business of wholesale and retail druggists and manufacturing chemists carried on under the same name at North East Thistle Street Lane, Edinburgh.[1]
1965 The company was acquired by Glaxo Group for £65,000 in cash.[2]
