1931 Died. 'Mr. Augustus Allebone, founder of the firm of Messrs. Allebone and Sons, boot manufacturers, Rushden, died at his residence, Wellingborough-road, Rushden, on Wednesday night. Mr. Allebone, who was about 68 years of age. He was at the Oxford and Cambridge boat race on Saturday. It is believed he caught a chill, which developed into pneumonia. Mr. Allebone leaves a widow and one son, [[Arthur Allebone| Mr. Arthur Allebone]], C.C., of Rushden. Augustus Allebone (1863-1931) of Allebone and Sons
