Horace Marler Anning (c1875-1953)

Born the son of Henry Anning, a farmer.

1911 Residing at Basin House, Haven Road, St Thomas, Exeter: Horace Marler Anning (age 36 born Hinton), Electrical Engineer (Mains Superintendent), Exeter City Council Electricity Supply. With his wife Gertrude Mary, one son and one daughter. Also two boarders - both electrical engineers.[1]

1942 'Mr. H. M. Anning. for more than 48 years identified with the Exeter Electric Light Co. and the Exeter Corporation Electricity Department and who retired 1939.'[2]
