1925 Alexander Cheyne Limited was registered as a private company, with capital of £12,000, to acquire the business carried on by Alexander Cheyne, motor and cycle factor, Diamond Lane, Aberdeen.[1]

1988 The company went into voluntary liquidation. Its name had changed to Alexander Cheyne Limited.[2]
