1880 Sold the shop to Samuel Dixon.
Products included umbrella frames made by Samuel Fox and Co (no relation)
1985 Seeking larger premises, the company purchased Jones Umbrellas, of Sutton, from Frank Fish.
1986 The company offered a service of repairing umbrellas and custom making individual umbrellas[1]
2000 The sales director purchased the manufacturing division and moved it to Sutton.
2003 the company name was changed to Fox Umbrellas Ltd to remove some confusion and make the company more easily identifiable.
2006 Moved into a new purpose built factory with showrooms and offices in Shirley, Surrey.
