1970 General Foods, a subsidiary of General Foods Corporation (USA), entered the United Kingdom pet food market when it acquired Windsor Foods which was owned by Kenneth McCluskey and Robert Williamson.
The company's production of pet foods is confined to canned goods which are produced at Portadown, Northern Ireland. Products are marketed under the brand names of 'Master McGrath' dog food and 'Fussy' cat food (the latter is sold only in the Irish Republic), but approximately half of the company's production is for 'own label' customers.
