We have learned with regret of the death of Mr. J. W. Baillie, formerly managing director of Horseley Bridge and Thomas Piggott, Ltd., which occurred on July 14th.
Mr. Baillie joined the company in 1919 and retired from the office of managing director last December. He was, for some years, president of the British Constructional Steelwork Association, and, up to the time of his death, served on the grand council of the Federation of British Industries.
