Hall and Kay of Birch Mills, Stockport Road, Ashton-under-Lyne were producers of equipment for the cotton industry. Later became air conditioning and ventilation engineers.
c.1878 Business founded by Daniel Hall and James Henry Kay.

1937 Patent hank rivet bush manufacturers.[2]
WWII Manufactured aircraft parts.
1960 Acquired by Spark Holdings.[3],
1962 Acquired H. Cheetham and Co of Oldham, heating engineers.
1963 Acquired Electric House (1955) Ltd of Denton, Manchester, electrical contractors.[4] Hall and Kay would offer a full range of heating, air conditioning and ventilation services, and electrical equipment and wiring, to engineers, architects and surveyors.
