1888 Company established by George James Tinker when he left Tinker, Shenton and Co to set up with his brother James.

1892 Incorporated as a Limited Company.

1914 Boilermakers. Specialities: Manufacturers of high-class Lancashire and other types of Boilers, Patent Super-heaters, Air Vessels etc. High Pressure Boilers a leading speciality. [1]

1920 The boiler works were acquired by the Spearing Boiler Co

1925 Control of the company fell to Vickers.

1931 The company ceased trading.
