Major General Albert Robert Valon (1885-1971)

Maj-Gen Albert Robert Valon, CB, OBE, MC (Fellow), who served in France and Belgium during the 1914-18 War and who was appointed a Colonel Commandant of RAOC in 1941, and of REME in 1945, died on June 2nd.

He was an Engineering Advisor to the British Council after World War II for four years.
