1971 Dyna-Quip ball valves and couplings continued to be made at Shipston whilst a new factory in Cornwall was being finished[3]
1972 Acquired by Imperial Metal Industries
1974 Renamed Norgren Shipston Ltd
1978 Became IMI Norgren Shipston Ltd
1985 Renamed IMI Yorkshire Copper Tube Ltd
1986 Acquired the copper tube division of fellow subsidiary IMI Yorkshire Alloys Ltd[4]
