1905 'THE LATE MR. WILLIAM STELL. The late Mr. William Stell, of Steeton, Keighley, retired machine maker, the founder, and formerly partner, in the firm of Messrs. [[Hall, Ramsden and Stell|Hall, Ramsden, and Stell]], Keighley, whose machinery contributed largely to the development of the worsted spinning industry, left estate of the gross value of £22,596, of which the net personalty has been sworn at £17,111. The testator bequeathed his wife a life annuity of £260, and to his brother, Mr. Northrop Stell, a life annuity of £26, free of duty.
