1967 Acquired Asser Engineering, of Chesterton, Newcastle, Staffs. Asser made machinery for the bakery industry.[3]

1978 Acquired by Sandvik Swedish Steels

1988 A member of the fast expanding Thomas Robinson Process Engineering Group of companies who are world leaders in food engineering and are set on significant growth.[4]

2006 Returned to private ownership.
