The business, which files it accounts under the name Sun Valley Foods, is known as Cargill Meats Europe. It operates from production facilities in Hereford, Wolverhampton and Gloucestershire.
Sun Valley has been part of the Cargill group since 1980, before changing its name in 2008. It now employs more than 2,000 staff. It made a loss after tax for 2012 of £11.8m.
