Brickwork external cladding over a structural frame of cast in situ of concrete columns and ring beams, with a another beam running from front to rear. Roofs are of conventional pitched and tiled design.
1945 The company who are aircraft manufacturers are to produce pre-fabricated bungalows using aluminium from crashed aircraft.[1]
1949-54 Manufactured prefabs designed by G. Schindler. Around 1,400 produced as two-storey semi-detached and terraced houses.
1951 Resumed manufacture of jet engines.[2]
