A product of the General Foods Co

Invented (?) by Charles William Post, who left a large fortune when he died c.1922[1]

Pre-WWII General Foods established the Grape Nuts Co to distribute its packaged foods in the UK[2]

Post-WWII Production and marketing was taken on by Alfred Bird and Sons who soon joined the General Foods group.
