1924 CWS acquired the premises of Browns Foundry Co and will use as a paint factory to replace the one at CWS Rochdale Paint Works destroyed by fire.[1]

1969 CWS pulled out of the paint market and ran down its Derby factory; International Paint was contracted to supply paint for CWS
