1914 Specialities: Compressed shives and spills for brewers, distillers, oil manufacturers and chemical works; steel wire brushes and tube brushes.

1922 Charles Buckley and Sons Limited was registered as a private company, with capital of £10,000, to take over the business of a brush manufacturer carried on by Charles Buckley and Co, and to carry on the business of manufacturers of ships' brushes, deck brooms, paint scrubs, steel and boiler tube brushes and broom makers, joiners, wood-turners, timber merchants, etc.[1]
