Joseph C. Chambers (c1858- )
Career:
- 1880 United Telephone Co.
- 1880-82 Pioneer of telephone, and in face of public apathy and criticism, opened several exchanges in Yorkshire.
- worked with Yorkshire, Provincial and National Telephone Companies.
- 1911 Subsequently Superintendent Northern Area, until transferred to the State.
