1938 In view of the amalgamation carried through of the [[Donaldson Line]], and the [[Donaldson South American Line]], a new management company was formed, with capital of £20,000, to be called Donaldson Brothers and Black Limited. The new company was to manage the Donaldson Line, Donaldson Atlantic Line, and Donaldson South American Line, and other interests formerly managed by Donaldson Brothers and John Black and Co Limited.<ref>Liverpool Journal of Commerce 4 July 1938</ref>
