1874 The Gas Tube Department of Eadie, Menzies and Eadie will, under the Firm of JAMES MENZIES & COMPANY, continue to be carried on by the Subscriber James Menzies, in the same portion of the Works as at present — such portion to be hereafter termed the Phoenix Tube Works; and also at No. 169 Upper Thames Street, London.
All debts due by the late concern of Eadie, Menzies, & Eadie will be paid, and all accounts due to it will be uplifted, by the Firm of James Eadie and Sons."[1]
