1882 Acquired the site of the Canal Iron Works, for redevelopment as part of his Sufferance Wharf.
1898 The founder's sons, Charles Douglas Morton and Edward Donald Morton, took over the management of the business.
1912 Incorporated as a Limited Company
Also trading as the Cornish Sardine Co, with Factories at Mevagissey, Polruan and Looe, and as E. D. Moore and Co., with Factory at Belvedere Road, Lowestoft.
