Henry Robinson of Pimlico was apprenticed under Timothy Bramah (who retired in 1830 and died in 1838).

1849 Henry Robinson of Pimlico was elected as Associate of the Inst Civil Engineers; for 4 years he had been acting partner of Robinson and Co, Manufacturing Engineers[1]

1856 Presented a paper on "Past and Present Condition of the River Thames" for which he was awarded a Telford Medal.
