  • 1878 Company established.
  • 1896 Incorporated as a limited company.
  • The Auto-Mixte was a bus design from Belgium and built period electric chassis using transmission designs of Henri Piper, later used by Daimler bus.
  • At least one Auto-Mixte design came to Britain and was rumoured to be the maker's first bus.
  • The chassis was very high by the standards of the day.
  • It was designed in 1906 by bodybuilder E and H. Hora and a body was built for it in just eight days.
  • 1911 Directory lists them as Hora E. & H. Ltd. 36 & 38 Peckham Road, London SE and as motor manufacturers. [1]
  • 1914 Motor body, coach and van builders. Specialities: motor cars, motor bodies including buses and commercial vehicles, carriages and horse-drawn vehicles; engine repairs. Employees 300. [2]
