Chevrolet Motor Co was a division of General Motors.
- At the end of World War 1, one-ton commercials were added to its production.
- In 1923 the first were sold in Britain.
- In 1925 General Motors took over the English car maker Vauxhall and from 1928 Vauxhall built Chevrolet commercials at Luton.
- Chevrolet production in Luton ended in 1931.
