Aims at improving the breeding of race-horses only, and the extermination of the draught-horse, whose place should be taken by the mechanical vehicle. Was educated at Eton, and entered the 9th Lancers 1903. Served in South African war, 1899-1900, wounded August, 1900 medal with clasps.
