1903 August 5th. Born at Rowley Regis the son of Elijah Edge and his wife Emmie L. In 1901 they are living at 122 Halesowen Road, Rowley Regis and he is described as a 'Cashier, Furmaking(sic) Trade' [1]
1917 Left school and entered the Austin drawing office as assistant to Jack Clarke, the engine designer
1921 September. Transferred to Lickey Grange to work on the ideas by Herbert Austin for the Austin 7
1925 December. Edge left Austin and joined a firm of agricultural engineers. He returned to Austin the following year.
1990 Died
