- 1730 Domecq family founded the Domecq bodegas in Jerez, Spain.
- 1822 The company name was changed to Pedro Domecq and Co by Pedro Domecq Lembeye.
- 1839 Pedro Domecq Lembeye died and his brother, Juan Pedro Domecq took over the running of the firm.
- 1869 Juan Pedro de Aladro and Pedro Domecq Loustau, cousins, began the running of the company.
- 1920 The business was visited by King Alfonso XIII, and was granted Marquess of Domecq D'Usquain.
- 1944 The company was taken over by Allied Lyons.
- 2005 Pernod Ricard acquired the company.
