Spondon were motorcycles produced from 1981 to 1985, in the village of Spondon, on the outskirts of Derby.
Thsi firm was well known for the production of frames and rolling chassis for racing engines. In 1981 they offered a complete machine with the 250cc Rotax two-stroke engine (made by Bombardier-Rotax GmbH). After a few years they found it hard to keep going when everyone else used the same engine.
