1936 Welsh Associated Collieries were absorbed into the Powell Duffryn Associated Collieries.

1937 Subsidiary of Powell Duffryn Associated Collieries Ltd. Owned 4 mines at Bwllfa, Aberdare, and Cwmmaman, Fforchwen, M.D. Level, Mardy, and Trewen[1].
