c1810 Company established by Samuel V. Moore. They made steam engines including the beam type
c1899 H. A. Pertwee became involved with the business
1900 W. H. Back joined the business
1914 Engineers, Iron and Brass Founders. Specialities: Marine engineering and constructional work, ice crushing plants and elevators. [1]
1920 Produced large triple expansion marine engine and fitted to the steam drifter 'Byng'
1922 Produced another engine and in 1927 it was fitted to the steam drifter 'Lord Anson'
