1795 The North Brink Brewery was established by Thomas Fawcett Junior; one of the first classic Georgian Breweries to be built outside London.
1801 Thomas Fawcett sold the brewery to William Watson including six pubs.
1877 John Elgood and George Harrison purchased the brewery and the tied estate of 70 public houses.
1878 The brewery was acquired by John Elgood
1905 Elgood & Sons was formed as a limited company; the third son of the late John Elgood, Horace Elgood, became Chairman.
2002 The fifth generation of the Elgood family took on the business. Operates 42 pubs in the area around Wisbech.
