- 1922 Advert for Ford Folding Boats. Unsinkable. "Fold into Nothing - Rigid as Rocks". Complete with Thwarts, Rowlocks and Oars 9ft Dinghy for yachts, etc., folding into case 2ft by 2ft 6in, £10 10s; Twelve footer, £15 15s; also "Scout" for one adult, £5 17s 6d. Types: Double-ended and Square Stern. "For River, Sea, Lake, Canal, Pond or Moat, there's nothing to beat a Ford Folding Boat". Carried by hand, cycle, car, aircraft, coolie, mule, or by anybody anywhere. Ten-footer weighs 40-lbs. complete. (Stand No. H.14)
