1743 Company established. [1]

1897 The company was registered on 21 July, to take over the business of a company of the same name, manufacturers of soaps etc. [2]

1914 Soap and candle makers, refiners of edible oils. Specialities: household soaps, candles, Puritan olive oil soap, Fripp's olive oil soap. Employees 120. [3]

The company was taken over by Lever Bros in 1912, and the factory closed in 1954 [4]
