1938 Ismay Industries sold its interests in Sterling Battery Ltd and Ismay Cables Ltd[1]
1940 A. C. Cossor purchased the whole of the share capital of Sterling Cable Co[2] and reorganised the company. It is presumed this was the business and plant that had formed Ismay Cables (but do not have a reference to prove so).
1942 Sterling Cable Co Ltd disposed of Sterling Batteries Ltd[3]
