1941 Japanese invaders seized the mines in China.
Since 1950 the company's business had been as an investment holding company although it still had a claim against the Chinese People's Government.
1956 The Chinese Engineering and Mining Co acquired Knitmaster Group[2]. The name of the holding company was changed to Knitmaster Holdings[3]
