Seddon were a Lorries from 1938 to 1974


  • 1937 Foster and Seddon started vehicle manufacture after 18 years of servicing and distribution of vehicles. t efirst vehicle was a 6-ton with a Perki9ns P6 diesel engine
  • 1947 Became Seddon Lorries
  • 1950 Produce 3-ton with a Perkins engine launched and remained in production until 1963
  • 1956 Styling changes with wrap-rpund windscreens
  • 1970 Acquired Atkinson
  • 1972 Launch new heavy range
  • 1974 The business was acquired by International Harvester of the USA
