D. Drummond and Son of Helen Street, Govan.
1891 Founded by Dugald Drummond.
1894 Seven narrow-gauge locomotives built.
1895 DD left the company with his sons in charge. The name changed to Glasgow Railway Engineering Co until 1901.
1937 The firm remained at Helen Street until this year when it moved to 139 Rigby Street, Glasgow.
1958 Remained at Rigby Street until 1958; was listed as work carried out on railway wheels and axles.
