1961 Bought by Donald Harding
1961 Bought by Donald Harding and he named it George after previous owner. It was steamable but minus and=y boiler lagging, chimney and wheel scrappers. Donald rallied it until 1980, when the firebox sprung a leak. Then he replaced the firebox, front tube plate and smoke box and rallied it until 1995. <ref>2014 St. Merryn Steam and Vintage Rally Programme.</ref>
 
2000. Donald's son Jeffry Harding brought the engine down to Cornwall.
 
2008. Stephen and Sophie Hawkins bought George and fitted new tubes ready for its hydraulic test.
