Maker of stationary engines. [1]
1868 Beam engine at Crabtree and Co, Carr Top Mills, Batley. Photographed by George Watkins in 1935. G. Watkins notes that J. & J. Horsfield were well known as boiler makers, but the company had no records on engine building. However, the engine had the name and date clearly moulded on the steam chest [2]
