Edward Hammond Bentall (1814-1898)
1814 Born the son of William Bentall
1836 At the age to 22 he takes over E. H. Bentall and Co on the death of his father William
1843 Patented the Broad Share Cultivator
Designs a semi-automatic machine to produce nuts and bolts
Designed and built the yacht 'Julianar'
1885 Passes control of the company to his son Edmund Ernest Bentall
